Dubai-based Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) has appointed Bertrand Julien-Laferriere as CEO of MAF Properties. Julien-Laferriere joined MAF Properties in February this year and is responsible for the overall growth of the group’s entire property portfolio worth $10 billion, in addition to the pipeline of development projects.
“Julien-Laferriere has extensive experience in international development and in managing real estate firms over the past 30 years. His appointment will help strengthen our regional leadership position and I know he will play an instrumental role to support the future of the company and our next phase of growth,” says Alain Bejjani, CEO, MAF Holding.
Prior to joining MAF Properties, Julien-Laferriere has held executive positions for both listed and non-listed real estate firms including Unibail-Rodamco, one of the largest real estate investment trusts in Europe specialising in shopping malls.
