L’Oreal Middle East has signed with global logistics provider Globe Express Services (Overseas Group) for outbound sea and air transportation services. L’Oreal will tap Globe Express Services (GES) for its expertise in creative warehouse design, distribution, supply chain execution and material handling solutions. In addition, the cosmetics company will deploy Globe Express’s one-stop eServices tool, the GES eServices tracking system.
GES eServices is a 100% paperless solution that enables full shipment control, visibility and events management, from booking to delivery at final destination. The system features a customized dashboard that records a full log of past and present activities, as well as high-level visibility on the volume shipped on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
“Our sea and air agreement with L’Oreal is the natural progression to our years of productive partnership. We look forward to helping the company achieve its expansion goals in the Middle East through capabilities such as our E-Services tracking system which is a good fit to L’Oreal’s regional operations,” comments Mustapha Kawam, managing director-Gulf states, GES.
