YouGov names popular brands in the UAE & beyond

Market research firm, YouGov has recently released the 2019 UAE Workforce Rankings, showcasing brands with the highest average reputation scores between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019. Emirates tops the list of top 10 brands, followed by Apple, iPhone, Google, Samsung, Emaar, The Dubai Mall, Samsung Galaxy, Almarai and Etihad Airways.

YouGov also released a list of brands that improved reputation, including Warner Bros. World, Netflix, Huawei, Coca-Cola, Downy, Al Ansari Exchange, Starbucks, UAEXCHANGE, Colgate and Baskin-Robbins. The reputation improvers chart ranks the brands with the highest increase in reputation comparing the scores for this year and the prior 12-month period (April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018).

In addition, YouGov has released the Workforce Rankings for 38 other markets around the world. In the workforce rankings, Google dominated, being placed in the top 10 in 23 markets. Samsung reached the top 10 for 16 markets, followed by Apple in 13 regions.

In the social media and online sector, YouTube reached 13 top spots globally. WhatsApp and Facebook followed placed in the top 10 rankings in 8 markets. New to the top ranked list, Mercedes-Benz occupied top spots globally in 10 markets. Meanwhile, Amazon was rated in the top workforce rankings in 10 of the tracked markets. Popular apparel and shoe brands made quite an impact around the globe. adidas has been placed in the top 10 rankings for 9 markets, while Nike ranked in 8 markets.
