Yas Mall to celebrate modest fashion

Abu Dhabi-based Yas Mall will host the third edition of Modest Fashion and Beauty Weekend, a three-day event dedicated to celebrating the elegance of dressing conservatively. The event will be held from March 7- 9 and include catwalk shows showcasing the latest modern fashion trends as well as beauty and styling workshops.

Rising from the clothing preferences of women from diverse faiths and preferences, modest fashion has gained recognition in the narrative of contemporary fashion. With Yas Mall’s strong fashion portfolio of retailers, the event will focus on the latest trends and demonstrate the feminine appeal of conservative fashion.

The event is designed around the concept of modest street fashion with some of the region’s most well-known stylists curating catwalk shows featuring spring season items from Yas Mall fashion brands. The participating retailers include Anotah, Aspinal of London, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Hanayen, House of Fraser, Khaadi, Marks & Spencer, Maje, Next, Promod, Reiss, Sacoor Brothers, Sandro, Searina, Sfera, Stradivarius, Ted Baker, Topshop and Vero Moda.

Make-up and nail experts will be on hand at the Beauty Pop-Up, helping ladies with the latest eye make-up techniques and modest manicures, skin consultations as well as personalised fragrances. For those looking to update their style, the Fashion Pop-Up will showcase the styles from the runway.
