High street fashion brand Splash – part of retail conglomerate Landmark Group – becomes an official apparel licensee for Expo 2020 Dubai. The brand has recently launched the Expo 2020 official merchandise collection in the GCC.

The collection, inspired by the Expo 2020 Dubai logo, is designed on the pillar of sustainability, a promise that the brand has been living since 2016. Through the collection, Splash has demonstrated its support of the Expo 2020 sub-theme and a shared passion to inspire visitors to be part of creating a better, more sustainable future.

The collection is made with sustainable fabrics such as BCI cotton & polyester with special eco-friendly finish. This collection is inspired by the heritage of the region and includes t-shirts, jog pants, coordinate sets and more. As an official apparel licensee, Splash has launched a collection with a range continuing to expand towards the journey of Expo 2020. The collection will be sold through Splash stores and online. Each option comes with customised Expo 2020 trims, hang tags, holograms & labels.

“We are happy to launch the Expo 2020 collection at Splash stores across the GCC. Being sustainable is a core quality within Splash and we are excited to launch this sustainable, smart and trendy Expo 2020 collection which is all about wearable sustainable material. This collection incorporates Dubai’s heritage street style through contemporary trends appealing to every age group,” said Raza Beig, CEO Splash and director – Landmark Group.

“Expo 2020 Dubai aims to attract more than 25 million visits, creating an enormous retail opportunity for licensees. We are proud to be supporting local and regional innovation through partnering with Splash, a company that was born in the region. Many of the almost 70 licensees that we will appoint operate in the GCC, spreading the economic benefit of hosting Expo 2020,” added Anita Chandler, director, licensing and retail, Expo 2020 Dubai. “A goal of Expo 2020 is to have a sustainable impact on the future of the UAE and the world. Through relatable real-life solutions to current challenges, such as innovations in the fashion industry, millions of chances are being created to educate people to make a conscious difference that will bring lasting changes.”
