Shopping mall developer and leisure and retail operator Majid Al Futtaim’s luxury flagship destination Mall of the Emirates has launched BLOOM, its spring/summer 2017 campaign. Taking place from March 15 – April 15 Mall of the Emirates will celebrate the season with fashionable activations, exclusive events and incredible winning opportunities.
Mall of the Emirates’ SS17 campaign imagery showcases the tonal palette of spring. The BLOOM concept invites guests to shed their winter wardrobe and revive their looks with a splash of colour to usher in the lighter, brighter season. The vibrant campaign embraces the ambiance of spring with lively colours, exotic birds and flowers in full bloom. Visitors will experience the atmosphere of the campaign first-hand as the mall transforms into a celebration of the season.
“Launching the spring/summer season is always a highly anticipated time in Mall of the Emirates’ fashion calendar as we witness world renowned brands delivering the latest collections to customers. During this time, we create great fashionable moments for our visitors with chic events and opportunities to win big. We’re looking forward to seeing our shoppers embrace the new season and enjoy the mall’s vibrant atmosphere,” says Hussain Moosa, associate director for Mall of the Emirates.
Headlining the mall’s SS17 fashion activities is a showcase of emerging design talent presented in partnership with The College of Fashion Design. Budding designers will present their pieces inspired by Mall of the Emirates’ BLOOM campaign in front of a panel that will judge their work and award a winner. Following the presentation, special guest speaker Her Highness Sheikha Hend Al Qassemi, chairperson of the CFD advisory board and member of the board of trustees, will share her invaluable insight and remarkable journey in the industry.
