Online gifting portal Ferns N Petals UAE has seen a 30-35% growth in transactions in the past three months, resulting from a rise in online traffic due to the current situation. The retailer has also ramped fulfilment capacity to meet daily delivery timelines.
“We have successfully ramped up our fulfilment bandwidth by 50%. Now, the inclusion of our new retail store in Sharjah at Al Nahda Centre will further boost our operational capabilities,” stated Saurabh Singh, manager – digital marketing for Ferns N Petals UAE.
When asked if there was any disruption in supply owing to movement restrictions in different parts of the world, Singh said, Ferns N Petals’ robust network of floral supply across the globe has actually helped the retailer to provide uninterrupted service across the product line, even during the lockdown.
With its existing retail stores in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and now Sharjah along with delivery service across the UAE, Ferns N Petals is strengthening its position in the local online gifting market.
“Expansion across the emirates and the GCC has always been a part of our commitment. With this recent addition, we strive to provide convenient gifting options to the customers in the region. Opening up a retail outlet in Sharjah will help us to serve a wider range of customers in a short period. We will be able to provide a one-hour delivery service on our selected range of products in Sharjah. It will enable customers to order desirable products online during the challenging situation of COVID-19,” added Rajesh Kumar, business head, Ferns N Petals UAE.
