aswaaq opens its newest mart at Mirdif Park Centre

Dubai-based aswaaq – which operates small-and-medium sized community malls, supermarkets and marts – recently launched its fourth ‘mart’ branch in Mirdif at Mirdif Park Centre, taking its total branches to 13.

‘Mart’ is a trademark owned by aswaaq, specially developed to serve the needs of the local neighbourhood. The mart format provides residents with a high quality selection of produce and fresh essentials, including daily groceries, fresh meat, fruits and vegetables.

Located in the heart of Mirdif, the Mart Mirdif Park Centre will serve people living in the area, reflecting the company’s 2021 strategy to be closer to customers. In addition, its aswaaq’s biggest mart branch spanning 7,500 sqft, which aims at offering shoppers comfort while shopping as well as provide them with free home delivery.

Further, aswaaq is investing in the field of food safety to protect its customers and provide them with safe consumption, for which it has gained HACCP accreditation.

In an initiative to raise the spirit of social responsibility and the unlimited support to the government initiatives, aswaaq hosted Rashed Almarzougi the official speaker for People of Determination from Community Development Authority as the guest of honour at the grand opening ceremony along with Yousuf Sharaf, CEO ofaswaaq and deputy CEO Affan Alkhoory.

“We are very proud to announce the launch of the new aswaaq store in Mirdif Park Centre, the latest mart in the aswaaq portfolio,” says Alkhoory. “As with all of our stores, marts and community malls, the new Mirdif venue is true to the aswaaq philosophy, bringing our services even closer to the community, providing residents with the highest quality products and level of services to fulfill their needs, and make their lives easier.”

Over the next five years, aswaaq is creating tailor-made retail solutions designed to address the differing demands of each community by considering each individual neighborhood’s unique identity. The company plans to open approximately 50 more supermarkets and marts across the emirates, as well as 23 community malls.
