Al-Futtaim Logistics, the logistics arm of the Dubai-based Al-Futtaim Group, officially launched its Exhibition Logistics services at the 8th Middle East Events Show.

Al-Futtaim Logistics now extends its competence to individual and corporate customers throughout the Middle East who require local and international moving services, handyman service and storage/warehousing solutions to hold stock for their events in the nearby markets. Committed to making the logistics process of exhibitions and events effortless for its customers, the company offers easy payment solutions.

“We support exhibitors’ and organisers’ needs for end-to-end exhibition handling by providing complete solutions through our global network. This includes freight management, destination clearance and local handling right through to delivery to the venues or stands. We can mobilise our specialist air freight team at short notice to fulfill critical and controlled authority clearance, and our privileged relations with Dubai Customs enable us to expedite processes, especially for automotive, machinery, food, pharma, cosmetics and nutritional products,” says Vargheese Anthony, general manager, Al-Futtaim Logistics.

“We are proud to be based in the UAE, at the beating heart of a modern international hub for trade shows, exhibitions, events and conferences. Our warehousing facilities in DIP and DIC are offered as part of our overall solution, extending secure, safe storage solutions to professional event planners, resulting in lower warehousing costs to manage items and equipment,” adds Raman Kumar, managing director, Al-Futtaim Logistics.

Al-Futtaim Logistics’ global reach in 150 countries through a key strategic partnership, extends to turnkey freight solutions which include bespoke handling for sporting, automotive and retail events, as well as product launches, road shows and local/international trade fairs and exhibitions.

Owing to its well established strategic advantage, Al-Futtaim Logistics recently signed its first partnership agreement with Dubai Export Development Corporation, (Department of Economic Development, Dubai’s Export Promotion Agency), extending logistics support to Dubai Exports and its members, as well as during their exhibitions, missions and promotional activities overseas.
