Landmark Group Founder Micky Jagtiani passes away
Middle East’s prominent business leader and Founder of Landmark Group, Micky Jagtiani passed away this morning (May 26, 2023).
He established the business in 1973 with a single store in Bahrain. Headquartered in the UAE, today Landmark Group is one of the largest retail and hospitality conglomerates in the MENA region with a presence across 21 countries.
Micky Jagtiani’s’s visionary approach, entrepreneurial spirit and astute leadership have played a pivotal role in the remarkable success of Landmark Group, as he personally guided the growth of several unique homegrown brands rubbing shoulders with international counterparts. Playing a pioneering role for many years, Micky Jagtiani made significant contributions to the regional retail industry, leaving behind an inspiring legacy of entrepreneurship.
Mickey Jagtiani is survived by his wife and Chairwoman of Landmark Group, Renuka Jagtiani and his three children – Aarti, Nisha and Rahul Jagtiani – who are Group Directors in the family business.
