KSA to hire female shop inspectors
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Labour is planning to hire female inspectors to ensure shops selling female accessories comply with the Saudisation regulations.
The government’s feminisation drive is set to target stores in three phases. The first phase will target stores selling lingerie and cosmetics, the second gowns and bridal dresses and the third fragrances, maternity wear, shoes, bags, ready-made clothing, fabrics and other accessories.
The introduction of female inspectors is part of this initiative and will ensure only female staff are employed in the outlets.
