Furniture retailer Home Box has opened its first-of-a-kind retail outlet in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) that will be exclusively managed by an all-female crew. This will also be the brand’s 21st retail outlet in KSA and its 33rd in the GCC region, as part of its regional expansion drive.

Located at Jeddah Park Mall, in Al Aziziyah, Jeddah, the new Home Box store will feature over 6,000 products in its catering, home furniture and accessories categories covering an expansive 30,000 sq.ft of premium space.

“The all-female staff store is a much-needed contribution towards the ongoing cultural change that’s sweeping the region. By walking the talk, we truly believe that this new women-led outlet will inspire more women in the region to seek leadership roles. This new and exciting concept will also significantly boost our customer experience,” said Ajay Antal, Chief Executive Officer at Home Box.

Home Box has been on an accelerated Omni channel growth path to offer its customers a unique shopping experience. The brand maps out its robust expansion plans announcing new stores in strategic markets including KSA, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah by 2022. The fast-growing value furniture and homeware chain is also all set to mark its debut in Qatar by launching its first ever store in the region in the coming year.
