Heart. Heritage. Home. Allo Beirut Finally Lands in Lebanon

Seven years after launching in Dubai as a tribute to the streets, stories and flavours of Beirut, Allo Beirut is finally opening in the city that inspired it. This October, the casual dining brand will launch its first Lebanon outlet on Beirut’s iconic Hamra Street—marking a powerful homecoming for one of the GCC’s most beloved Lebanese F&B concepts.

The launch is being rolled out through a long-term franchise agreement between Black Spoon Group and Lebanon-based Fashmore Holding, bringing the UAE-born brand’s expansion journey full circle.

Since its founding in 2018, Allo Beirut has grown into a regional favourite with outlets across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Known for its nostalgic design, sizzling open kitchens and everyday soul food, the brand was always more than a restaurant—a homage to old-school Beirut.

“For the past seven years, we’ve been celebrating Beirut, its food, its energy, and its spirit across borders,” said Charbel Mhanna, CEO of Black Spoon Group. “This is not just another opening. It’s a return to where it all began.”

Set across three levels and 675 sqm, the upcoming Hamra outlet will seat approximately 100 guests and feature one of the brand’s most dynamic designs to date. The interiors follow an open-concept format inspired by the rhythm of a busy Beirut street, complete with dedicated stations for manoushe, shawarma, fresh juices, and more.

Each floor will offer a different ambiance yet work collectively to deliver the immersive Allo Beirut experience that diners across the region have come to love. A new grab-and-go section has also been integrated, designed to suit Hamra’s urban energy and student-heavy footfall.

“Hamra represents the cultural heart of Beirut,” Mhanna added. “Its vibrant energy mirrors the spirit of Allo Beirut, making this location especially meaningful.”

While the menu will feature all of Allo Beirut’s classic favourites including sizzling grills, oven-fresh manoushe, and shawarma, new additions are being developed specifically for the local market.

With Lebanese diners already deeply familiar with the cuisine, the brand’s focus is on balancing nostalgia with subtle innovation, offering flavours that feel both authentic and exciting.

For Fashmore Holding, this launch is more than a business move, it’s a passion project rooted in cultural synergy.

“Allo Beirut is a brand that captures the essence of a city,” said Bassam Assaad, Chairman of Fashmore Holding. “Bringing it back to where it all began is incredibly meaningful. This is more than a franchise—it’s a full-circle story. We can’t wait to serve the flavour, rhythm and energy of Beirut again, in Beirut.”

Following the Hamra opening, Black Spoon and Fashmore Holding plan to expand the brand’s footprint further across Lebanon. The goal is to open three to five more locations over the next two to three years, signalling continued investment in Lebanon’s evolving F&B sector.Allo Beirut’s return to its namesake city is a symbolic gesture as well as a data-backed move grounded in emotional branding, experience design, and franchise agility.
