Arabian Centres wins award for its awareness programme

The Arabian Centres has been conferred the Albert Sussman International Community Support Award 2014 for its continual effort to raise awareness against breast cancer through its Zahra Breast Cancer programme in Saudi Arabia.

The award, presented by International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), recognises a shopping centre or a shopping centre company that distinguishes itself in the area of community service across the world.

The Arabian Centres was awarded during the Global Real Estate Convention held in Las Vegas in May.

The Arabian Centres joined hands with Zahra Breast Cancer Association to step up the fight against breast cancer by widening the knowledge base and reinforcing awareness and early detection for this disease.

The Arabian Centres had earlier won the Middle East and North Africa Community Support Award for this project, which resulted in a $5,000 donation from the ICSC foundation to Zahra Association.

The Albert Sussman International Community Support Award will bring in an additional $10,000 donation to the organisation.
