UAE-based Al Maya Group announced that it will be boosting import of Italian food products to the UAE during a recent event when the supermarket chain hosted the Consul-General of Italy in Dubai H.E. Giuseppe Finocchiaro in its store.

In 2020, Italy was the main European trade partner of the UAE,  recording AED 37.1 billion ($10.1 billion) in trade value, according to the Italian Trade Agency.
