Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall is all set to launch the emirate’s first fashion week coinciding with international fashion weeks in various iconic locations such as London, New York, Milan and Paris.

The Yas Mall Fashion Week will be held from October 14-18. The 15 runway shows will be held in Town Square featuring key themes in the autumn/winter collections from global fashion brands for both men and women, including romantic, modern retro, pop spirit, 70s bohemian-chic, modern and west coast winter. Participating brands include Debenhams, House of Fraser, Weill, Laurel, Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, BCBG, Gerard Darel, Promod, Morgan de Toi, Ted Baker and Hoss Intropia, with daily shows at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.

“Since the launch of Yas Mall, we’ve been working tirelessly to ensure that we continue delivering to our customers a unique experience with each visit. Not only do we bring a wide variety of stores that were a first for the capital, country and region, but we constantly endeavour to host unique events that engage our customers. We look forward to welcoming residents and tourists from around the world as we gear up towards celebrating our first anniversary,” says Talal Al Dhiyebi, chief development officer at Aldar Properties.

November will also be particularly busy on Yas Island, as it will feature the annual Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix races.
