Qatar-based Qatar Luxury Group is all set to launch its first Qela boutique in The Pearl, Qatar on September 25. This will be followed by another Qela boutique in Paris that will come up in the next few months.

Qatar Luxury Group, owned by the Qatar Foundation, was created as a commercial venture to build and foster luxury brands for an international audience in the fashion, hospitality and lifestyle sectors. Qela’s lines, which are minimal yet enhanced using precious and refined details exuding desert-inspired smooth shapes and generous volumes providing a feeling of comfort and general well-being, will include leather goods, shoes, jewellery and women’s made-to measure couture. It will offer a measured collection made by highly skilled craftsmen, designed and prototyped in the Qela workshops.

All the Qela boutiques will feature in-store exhibitions by local artists to create a space dedicated to culture that reflects the brand’s values of openness, creativity and spirituality.“We wanted to create a relaxing, timeless space where our guests can relax and take time to explore and discover the Qela collection in an artistic context,” says Gregory Couillard, CEO of Qatar Luxury Group.
