Saudi Arabia-based fashion and lifestyle retailer Alhokair Fashion Retail has appointed former All Saints CEO Stephen Craig to the same role at Spanish fast fashion retailer Suiteblanco, which was acquired by Alhokair in 2014.

Craig is credited for taking All Saints’ revenues from £10 million to £250 million over the five-year period, prior to acquisition by Lion Capital.

“Craig’s appointment reaffirms our continued determination to fully exploit the global potential of Suiteblanco. His vast, unique experience in product design and manufacturing, alongside multi-national retail operations will enable him to complete the turnaround process and position the brand for sustained and rapid expansion within the franchise market-place,” says Simon Marshall, CEO, Fawaz Alhokair & co.

“Suiteblanco possesses a rich Spanish heritage, and I embrace the opportunity to revitalise the brand and return it to its former glory,” adds Craig.

Madrid-based Suiteblanco, established in 1960, has more than 200 stores in 23 countries, while Alhokair Fashion Retail, which opened its first store in 1991, currently operates more than 2,300 stores across 100 shopping malls in 17 countries.
