What’s in store for the final week of Dubai Shopping Festival?

It is the final week of the 27th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the world’s longest running retail festival, and there is still so much in store for citizens, residents and visitors of Dubai to shop, win and play – all day, every day. Right up until the highly anticipated DSF closing ceremony on January 30, festival goers can shop till they drop with a whole host of bargains at the DSF Final Sale at malls across the city. Take one last chance at winning big with the Dubai Duty Free Raffle, SHARE Millionaire, DSF Skywards Millionaire, Nissan Grand Raffle and the Infiniti Mega Raffle, and grab amazing one-of-a-kind luxury creations from homegrown talent at the Icons x DSF Ladies Market.

For cultural buffs the Al Qouz Arts Fest has lots to discover, while for music fans, DIFC Jazz Nights and performances by The Black Eyed Peas at Expo 2020,  James Blunt at the Coca-Cola Arena and a hologram tribute concert by Egyptian Icon, Abdel Halim Hafez at the Al Habtoor City Theatre, are in store. While singing sensation, and DSF veteran, Rashid Al Majed will return to the Coca-Cola Arena for one night, with Iraqi icon, Waleed Al Shami for a grand musical celebration to close out the 27th edition of DSF. 

Shoppers can also add even more excitement to their bargain hunting adventures with Augmented Reality experiences across Dubai. All they need to do is simply point their cameras at QR codes on DSF shopping bags across every store in the city, to unlock the doors to a new world of excitement. It is also festival goers’ last chance to catch the DSF fireworks brought by the Al Zarooni Group – at The Pointe. All this and more with unmissable highlights for the final week of DSF.

The Quoz Arts Fest by Alserkal returns during the last weekend of DSF to activate the creative neighbourhood of Al Quoz to celebrate homegrown, and regional, creatives. Dubai’s hipster district will see live music, performances, food trucks, outdoor installations, contemporary art exhibitions, wellness and mindfulness workshops, a midnight movie marathon and so much more.

The Jazz Garden at DIFC

Initially launched as a sub-event of the Dubai Jazz Festival, The Jazz Garden is back at DIFC for the final weekend of DSF, and will run all the way through until February. Featuring internationally acclaimed jazz and blues acts, The Jazz Garden offers some truly soulful nights under the stars amidst Dubai’s gorgeous winter weather.

James Blunt Live in Dubai

James Blunt is bringing his greatest hits album, The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004- 2021), world tour to Dubai. The 30-song collection spans the musician’s 17-year career, including hits like “You’re Beautiful” and “Cold.”

Dubai Hologram Universe Present “Sawwah”

Arab Fashion Week

One of the world’s five most important fashion events, and the only Men’s Fashion Week in Asia, Middle East, and Africa, Arab Fashion Week will showcase menswear collections for Fall Winter 2023, by local, regional and international designers from the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, Jordan, England, and France. Among the designers featured will be: Amato, Michael Cinco, Anomalous, FLTRD, BHYPE and American Rag from the UAE; Lebanon’s Tagueule, Maison du Mec, Emergency Room and Ahmed Amer; Jordan’s Zaid Farouki; Libya’s Born in Exile; plus Valette Studio and Asher Levine.

The Hub Food Festival

Head to Majlis Al Khawaneej this DSF for The Hub Food Festival, a one-stop destination for family, friends and visitors of all ages to grab some delicious bites from local eateries, while chilling out to the sounds of groovy tunes spun by local DJs. Spanning two weeks of DSF, The Hub is a unique modern outdoor concept that offers a great way to enjoy Dubai’s beautiful winter weather.

Time: 4pm to 11pm on weekdays & 4pm to 12am on weekends

Rashid Al Majed and Waleed Al Shami Live in Dubai

Expect an electrifying night as Saudi sensation Rashed Al Majed and Iraqi icon Waleed Al Shami take to the stage for a grand musical celebration as the 27th edition of DSF comes to a close. Al Majed, who is one of the most recognised singers in the Middle East has a discography of over 40 hit records. Hear his romantic ballads from albums like Moseeba, Ala Min Tilabha,Ah Ya Qalbi and classics Dubai Danat Al Denya and Ya Salam Ya Dubai – also featured at The Dubai Mall fountain. The night will also see Al Shami, a regular on TV and radio, belt out chart-topping tracks like Nar Helwa, Sadmah and Ahebah Kolesh.

The Black Eyed Peas at Expo 2020 Dubai

Expo 2020 is back with its Infinite Night series and will be bringing world famous band The Black Eyed Peas to the Al Wasl Stage on January 25 to celebrate the end of the first month of the new year. The event will also be live streamed to millions of fans around the world who can enjoy the special experience on Virtual ExpoDubai, Expo TV on YouTube, Expo 2020’s Facebook page and Oculus VR.

Fun at Mercato Mall

The final week of Mercato Mall’sDSF entertainment schedule see a hip-hop break dancing competition, as professional dancers take to the main stage in two groups to compete with spectacular choreography. Also taking to the floor will be a speed juggling and street show bringing a special show with fabulous humour. The whole family can also enjoy various workshops until the end of DSF.

Madagascar’s Stars of the Jungle

Join Madagasca’s Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, The penguins and of course King Julien at Mirdif City Centre, for the ultimate jungle adventure! Sing along with Alex the lion as he becomes a Jungle Star! Then stick around for the chance to meet the characters and enjoy all the exciting activities post show.

Harry Potter at Mall of the Emirates

Step into Hogwarts at Mall of the Emirates during DSF for a one-of-a-kind Harry Potter Experience.  In collaboration with Warner Bros, the first of its kind experience in the region, will feature large-scale artistic installations of some of the most iconic scenes from the books and films. A must for all Potterheads with themed entertainment and activities centred around the magical world of the boy wizard.  Shoppers who spend just AED300 across Mall of the Emirates will enter for free.

Icons x DSF
As part of Ladies Night Market Series, DSF has partnered with the Icon to showcase the latest luxury lifestyle and fashion creations for women and children, from a selection of hand-picked homegrown and regional brands. Visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind clothing from Abayas to travel wear, and gowns to bags and handicrafts, while also sampling some delicious local culinary creations.

Al Misk x DSF

As part of Ladies Night Market Series, DSF has partnered with the Al Misk Exhibition to showcase creations and products of more than 25 homegrown and regional brands. Visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind clothing from Abayas to travel wear, and gowns to bags and handicrafts, while also sampling some delicious local culinary creations.

Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic
Golf fans are in for a treat during the last weekend of DSF as the world’s best competitors fly to the city for the Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic. A tournament that will become part of the Rolex Series this year – the European Tour’s premium category of events, with a prize fund of US$8 million.

Barcelona The Exhibition

DSF goers can head down to Dubai Festival City Mall for a completely immersive and interactive experience that will allow them to appreciate the trophies, learn the tactics, and take a trip down memory lane to learn the history of the club. They can also feel the emotion of walking out onto the Camp Nou pitch, and discover the next gen Barça and acquire official merchandising of legendary football club Barcelona.

DSF Final Sale
It’s time for the one sale you won’t want to miss!  As another successful edition of DSF comes to a close, the citywide shopping extravaganza has saved the best deals last. During the last weekend of DSF, the mega sale will see an amazing 500 brands slash their prices across a huge range of items at 3,000 stores around the city. The DSF Final Sale will supercharge shoppers to rediscover the deals, promotions, offers and activities available around Dubai, including savings from 25 to 90 per cent on everything.

Nissan Grand Raffle
