Fabyland opens in Nakheel Mall

Saudi Arabia based conglomerate Abdullah Al-Othaim Leisure has launched its family entertainment destination Fabyland in Dubai’s newly opened Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah.

Fabyland at Nakheel Mall is Al-Othaim Group’s eighth facility in the UAE. The state-of-the-art family entertainment centre, located at level 2 of the Nakheel Mall, is spread across 40,000 sqft.

Commenting on the launch, Fahad Al Othaim, vice chairman of Abdullah Al Othaim Leisure Company said, “We are glad to open Fabyland at Nakheel Mall, our latest leisure project in the UAE. This is the city’s newest entertainment centre and must-visit family destination offering a latest gaming experience with wide variety of rides and games for children of all age groups. With this facility, we unveiled a new level of entertainment and celebration in the city for families, friends and children to experience unlimited fun with games, rides, MyTown edutainment area, birthday party room, interactive climbing walls, trampolines, simulators games, virtual reality-based games, carnival games and soft play.”

“The facility comes under the framework of Al-Othaim Group’s plan to expand leisure projects outside the KSA. We are increasing our investment in the sector across different countries in the MENA region. Our vision is to offer an experience of leisure combined with fitness and recreational options to families. We have set-up a ‘futuristic’ ambience at the facility featuring latest technology-based experience with a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions for all age groups,” he added.

Some of the interesting rides at Fabyland Nakheel Mall, Palm Jumeirah include interactive Climbing walls, Drift Race, Cyber Fox, Wave rider, Bumper cars, F1 simulator and much more. The Trampoline includes a foam pit that’s guaranteed to tire out all the guests at Fabyland. The soft play structure features more than 100 different activities including slides, ball-pool and ball-shooting. In addition, there is extensive choice in redemption machines, video games, kiddie rides and novelty machines.

Along with Fabyland, Al-Othaim Leisure & Tourism Company has a distinct portfolio of entertainment concepts such as Saffori Land, Snow City, Splash Water Park, Xtremeland, My Town and Xtreme Zone.

“We expect a bright future for the leisure and tourism industry in the Middle East. This sector has become most attractive for local investments and foreign investments. That’s a driving force for the regional economies, which require diversification of leisure and tourism products in this market,” Al Othaim concluded.
