The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Group, in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) has announced that customers can now use their NoL cards to pay for all products and services across ENOC’s entire retail network.

ENOC’s customers can complete their transactions with a simple tap-and-pay for purchases at ZOOM, Pronto, Paavo’s Pizza as well as for fuel and automotive services.

“The growing use of smart devices is driving the adoption of cashless payments. Enabling payments through NoL cards demonstrates our commitment to the Smart City initiative – to enable and drive innovation across all our businesses, and to enhance customer experience,” says Saif Humaid Al Falasi, group CEO, ENOC.

Abdulla Al Madani, CEO, RTA’s corporate technology support services sector expressed his satisfaction and delight over the collaboration and partnership with prestigious organisations such as Mercury Payments and Network International (NI) to enable NoL card holders to pay for groceries and purchases at more than 1,000 retail outlets all over the emirate of Dubai.

“Enabling the public from different social segments to use NoL cards to meet the needs of their retail payments is aligned with RTA’s strategic goal No. 3, which is ‘People Happiness.’ RTA has always sought the best methods to make people in the UAE, including citizens, residents, tourists and visitors, happy by providing them with safer, sophisticated, secure and faster solutions that make their lives easier and more comfortable. This initiative undoubtedly enhances the realisation of Dubai’s ambition to be the smartest city in the world in three years,” states Al Madani.

ENOC has 118 service stations across the UAE with 221 ZOOM outlets that operate across metro stations, ENOC service stations as well as high-end standalone destinations.
