Emaar Retail LLC has set an industry milestone by achieving the prestigious ISO9001: 2008 certification for its quality management system, underlining the highest international standards in quality and focus on customer satisfaction by the company across its entire breadth of operations.

Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), which undertook the independent evaluation of Emaar Retail’s operations, presented the ISO 9001:2008 certification, which covers all leisure assets of Emaar Retail at The Dubai Mall including Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, SEGA Republic, Dubai Ice Rink, Reel Cinemas and KidZania®, and at Dubai Marina Mall – SEGA Republic Game Zone and Reel Cinemas.

said: “The ISO9001:2008 certification is a testament to the world-class quality management principles that we adhere to across all our operations. As the region’s premier provider of leisure and entertainment, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences in a safe, welcoming, and high quality environment. With customer satisfaction being one of the key parameters in the rigorous evaluation process, the certification has demonstrated our leadership in the leisure & entertainment industry in meeting the discerning requirements of our valued clients,” says Maitha Al Dossari, CEO of Emaar Retail LLC. She adds “In addition to being focused on customer service and maintaining stringent quality standards, the certification also highlights the emphasis we place on continual improvement, managing employee welfare and maintaining strong relations with our suppliers. We are one of the few players in the industry to secure this honour, and we attribute it to the dedication and passion of our employees, the global best practices that we have implemented and our on-going focus on customer engagement.”

Being certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System ensures that across the operations of all its assets, Emaar Retail will be customer-oriented, quick to resolve any concerns they raise and continuously making improvements to meet the changing requirements of its customers.
