Concept salon That Hair Tho (THT) recently opened in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), located in Cluster N, at The Dome Building. The fun and fashionable new salon focuses on hair, nails and lashes and are proud to encompass all things ethical in a cool and friendly environment.

Besides specialised and professional beauty care, a few elements make THT stand out – funky ambiance, friendly staff, use of a wide range of vegan, sustainable and gluten-free products and complete transparency of products and their usage.

THT is an open space, where guests are free to move around to each station comfortably. Each section is specifically designed for hair, makeup, nails and more. The salon doesn’t shy away from using bold, radical hair colours and specialises in trendy cuts. THT offer a unique raw creativity that promises to find an appeal.

THT also provides bespoke hair services, including mesh integration systems for hair loss, for women who have suffered hair loss from medication, chemotherapy and radiation. The salon fully supports women cancer survivors and aims to help them get back to their true self, equipping them with a look they can be truly happy and proud of.

Further, THT endeavours to use the most ethical beauty treatments. “Ethical consumerism and the demand for ethical products and transparency is a trend that is extremely important for the beauty Industry. Sadly, despite other alternatives, many brands are still testing on animals. At THT we fully supportive and only accept brands which are Animal Cruelty free and Vegan,” states founder Kate Darling.

“At THT we also have strict policies for recycling, water usage and remaining as sustainable as we can be for the environment while also delivering the best services possible. Our hair products have biodegradable packaging and are sourced ethically. Our nail products are as toxic free as you can get on the market. It is important for salons and beauty professionals to support ethical brands in order to help the industry to switch over to other alternatives,” she adds.
