Cityland Mall opens the first phase with Carrefour

The 1.2 million sqft GLA Cityland Mall, located adjacent to Global Village, has opened its first phase with Carrefour hypermarket on May 12, 2019.

The 109,000 sqft Carrefour hypermarket will cater to the residential communities of Arabian Ranches, Majan, Al Barari, Layan, The Villa and Falcon City. Several upcoming communities like Villanova, Arabian Ranches Extension, and many others, all located within a ten-minute drive-time to the mall.

Cityland Mall touted as the World’s first nature-inspired mall when complete will offer an exceptional shopping and leisure experience. In addition to its extensive retail and food & beverage offering, it will comprise a 200,000 sqft botanical garden – “Central Park”, a mini water park, an amphitheatre with 3,000 seating capacity, an ancient tree garden, Japanese Garden and mini version of Dubai Miracle Garden, 360 rooftop garden as well as a family entertainment area complete with cinema complex.

Over the forthcoming weeks, several other brands will open their doors at Cityland Mall. They include but not limited to home furnishing anchor tenants, food & beverage outlets, banks, exchange companies and pharmacies, telecom service providers.
