UAE-based shopping mall, retail and leisure developer Majid Al Futtaim has announced the opening of its new Carrefour Market store, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional expansion.

The new store is conveniently situated in the heart of the Arabian Ranches II Community Mall, The Ranches Souk, a mixed-use Emaar development, providing residents and visitors with a variety of fresh and organic produce as well as everyday essential household goods.

The opening of the new 12,265 sqft store will be the 31st Carrefour Market store in the UAE over six years, bolstering the retailer’s commitment to expanding its presence in the region. The partnership with Emaar for The Ranches Souk, Arabian Ranches II Community development, also allows the Carrefour Market outlet to benefit from the increasing development in the area and growing number of residential communities.

“Today’s announcement marks a significant step for Carrefour, as we continue to grow our presence across the UAE. Carrefour Market offers customers a unique shopping experience with a quality product selection at attractive prices. We look forward to bringing great moments, more choice and quality offering that Carrefour is known for to new customers in Arabian Ranches II,” says Frank Rouquet, vice president, Carrefour Market UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain.

“The new Carrefour Market store is a great addition to The Ranches Souk, the Arabian Ranches II Community Mall development. Offering the best in retail to our residents is of utmost importance and with its wide selection of goods that appeals to all, we expect Carrefour to become a popular community shopping destination,” adds an Emaar Malls spokesperson.
