BinHendi signs SAP to boost processes

UAE-based conglomerate BinHendi Enterprises has signed a deal with Germany software company SAP to accelerate its growth strategy and improve customer service across the board.

SAP will deliver a series of solutions aimed at streamlining and automating processes to create greater transparency and agility throughout the organisation. SAP’s scope of work includes its business suite applications powered by the SAP HANA in-memory computing platform and industry-specific solutions for retail and merchandising. All aspects of the project will be mobile-enabled.

BinHendi Enterprises expects to markedly improve the processes fundamental to the company’s day-to-day operations, including strategically managing the workforce, seamlessly integrating accounting and payroll, as well as boosting visibility and real-time planning capabilities for budgets, ever-changing stock demands and merchandising strategies.

“BinHendi Enterprises cannot afford to stand still and be content with its successes to date. We need to be continually moving forward, and that means embracing new ways to accelerate growth and, crucially, improving the customer experience across all of our operations. SAP is the right company at the right time for us, and will give us the technological means to be more nimble, more decisive and, ultimately, more profitable. I am certain that greater agility and transparency can help us achieve new levels of success,” says Mohi-Din BinHendi, president and chairman of the board, BinHendi Enterprises.

“Many of the industries BinHendi operate in are extremely competitive, so to stay ahead of the curve requires clarity and the wherewithal to adapt to rapidly changing demands from both the market and customers. Whether it is hiring the right people at the right time, promoting the best deals, setting the best prices or aligning sourcing and buying with merchandising strategy, we can help BinHendi Enterprises run better than ever,” says Mark Ferrer, chief operating officer, SAP Global Customer Operations.
