Arabian Centres to reopen 20 shopping centres across the Kingdom from Wednesday

Arabian Centres Company (ACC), the leading contemporary lifestyle destination network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced it will reopen 20 shopping centres in 10 cities from Wednesday, April 29 to May 13 in line with recently announced Government guidelines. Makkah Mall will stay closed while the city remains under a 24-hour curfew.

 

Arabian Centres is now engaged in a deep clean sterilisation programme of its network ahead of the reopening. Visitors and staff will be required to follow the standard guidelines for wearing masks and gloves to ensure the health and safety of visitors and employees.

 

The shopping centres will open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm to facilitate Ramadan shoppers. All cinemas, entertainment facilities, hairdressers and beauty salons, will remain closed in line with Government directives to ensure public safety. Cafes and restaurants will only provide delivery services from 3 pm to 3 am daily through mobile apps.

 

Centre staff will take the temperature of all visitors, including store staff and delivery workers with a requirement to keep to proper social distancing measures.

 “As we prepare to welcome our customers back to our shopping centres on Wednesday we do ask that they take note of the health and safety precautions in place to wear a mask and gloves and keep to appropriate social distancing while shopping,” adds Nougarou.
