Retail salary guide 2021: How much you should be earning if you are in the retail industry

January 24, 2021 | By RetailME Bureau

Michael Page recently revealed its salary guide for 2021, which acts as a reference for hiring managers and job seekers to make informed employment decisions in the UAE.

The report is segregated based on sectors, skills and salaries and provides recommendations on the different hiring or talent challenges across sectors, including retail.

The report comes following a tumultuous year for the world’s job market where job losses, salary cuts, and redundancies were the dominating themes.

“During times of uncertainty, strong leadership, effective communication and empathy have been the key drivers for confidence and motivation. And they will continue to be the foundations of a stable, confident and engaged platform for growth in times of recovery”, said Pierre-Emmanuel Dupil Senior Managing Director, PageGroup, Middle East & Africa.

“Taking care of employee mental health and wellness, redefining flexibility, setting the right remote working organization, communicating new goals and targets adapted to the overall vision, and offering environments enabling work-life balance, have been key challenges faced by businesses in 2020”, he added
