E-commerce platform Amazon now offers on-demand home services in the UAE with the launch of Amazon Home Services. Through Amazon Home Services, customers can browse, purchase and schedule over 70 professional services directly on Amazon.ae. The service is currently available across most locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

The curated list of on-demand services on Amazon Home Services includes home cleaning & improvement, AC cleaning, mobile repair, pet grooming, car washing, furniture assembly, installation of Ring devices, as well as services that have recently become essential, such as home disinfection and furniture cleaning. Amazon Home Services features a growing list of recognised local service providers, connecting them to millions of Amazon.ae customers.

As part of Amazon Home Services, customers can now also add professional installation and assembly services when buying eligible products on Amazon.ae such as televisions, treadmills and other sports equipment, furniture, as well as work-from-home office products such as desks and office chairs.

“Since the launch of Amazon.ae, we have been striving to constantly add more products and services for our customers. Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of Amazon Home Services as a simple way for customers to book services from handpicked, locally-based service providers with the same ease as purchasing products on Amazon.ae. This is a testament to Amazon’s commitment to providing customers with a trusted and convenient online shopping experience,” said Ronaldo Mouchawar, VP, Amazon Middle East and North Africa.

Keeping safety as its number one priority, Amazon has rolled out robust health and safety guidelines for all Amazon Home Services providers. In addition to standard health and safety best practice measures, these guidelines also comply with COVID-19 related recommendations from authorities such as the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Department of Economic Development in the UAE and the World Health Organization (WHO).
