Bahrain-based Seef Corner, a 19,665 sqft retail development owned by the Humaidan family and situated in Seef District, has appointed global real estate advisory firm CBRE as the exclusive property manager.

The signing took place between Richard Botham, senior director and general manager, CBRE Bahrain, and Mohammed Humaidan. The ceremony was attended by James Lynn, director and Heather Longden, associate director, CBRE Bahrain.

Commenting on the announcement, Humaidan, says, “We are delighted to announce the appointment of CBRE as our strategic partners for Seef Corner. The property is already a highly sought-after location, providing great facilities for retailers and customers alike, which includes an air conditioned passage way to shops and restaurants as well as ample off street parking and 24-hour security.”

“Seef Corner is a well-established retail development in a strategic location near City Centre shopping mall. The property already has a range of tenants in operation including House of Travel, CaliBurger, Creolate Chocolatier and Cake Boutique. There are also opportunities for other retailers to launch brands here in a location that provides great exposure and in a professionally run complex,” adds Botham.

“Seef Corner taps into the trend of the development of alternative retail development in the Kingdom. Traditionally larger destination malls in the capital were the main providers of shopping and leisure options; however, now smaller complexes providing unique dining options and community centres with essential services are growing in number,” he states.

CBRE currently manages five retail developments, eight commercial office properties, five residential buildings and compounds as well as a large industrial facility in Bahrain.
