Korean food products section opens at Al Maya Supermarket

Consul General of South Korea in Dubai Nam Duk Heo recently inaugurated a Korean food products section at Al Maya Supermarket at Murqqabat in the presence of Kamal Vachani, group director, Al Maya Group.

Vachani welcomed Heo and thanked him for facilitating the presence of popular Korean food products at selected Al Maya Supermarkets. The food products include confectionery, soya milk, juices, snacks, noodles, sauces and the like.

Heo appreciated the efforts taken by Al Maya in promoting Korean food products in the UAE and explored opportunities for further cooperation between Korean companies and Al Maya.

UAE-based Al Maya Group currently operates more than 40 supermarkets in the GCC countries, in addition to other businesses. Expansion plans include opening of more supermarkets within the region.
