Landmark Leisure, Dubai-based Landmark Group’s leisure business, has launched its newest family entertainment centre (FEC) Fun Works at Yas Mall. Fun Works offers a synergised entertainment mix, appealing to children of all age groups. It has been developed as a place where little guests can indulge in an unmatched wonder-filled experience; they are empowered and encouraged to innovate, make decisions, take risks and discover their own stimuli.

This House of Play provides a unique blend of playful learning experiences with its bespoke attractions of Wizz Works, a five level soft play area spread across 20,000 sqft comprising over 200 activities for children to build up physical skills, encouraging them to take risks. While My Works comprises 10 stimulating workshops targeted to increase the mental aptitude of children and inculcate a sense of accomplishment through the concept of ‘Playful Learning’ with the guidance of Worklings – mascots who guide and assist children in their play to steer learning.

In addition there are some unique rides too, three of which are the first-of-its kind in the region, including Yolo Works – a drifting roller coaster, Work It Works – a thrilling ride powered by kids themselves and Loop Works – a thrilling sky-flying adventure ride on a rotating plane.

“The opening of Fun Works is a momentous occasion for all of us at Landmark Leisure. It is the relentless and tiring efforts of the entire team for the last two years of creating this fabulous venue for our little guests. We are extremely proud of Fun Works as this is the first large format FEC where playful learning and thrilling experiences come together. We are certain that Fun Works will take centre stage at this hugely popular mall and our little guests will indulge in meaningful play. Our guests will travel through a bridge built between play and learning at My Works workshops. This milestone is a reflection of our business commitment to provide meaningful play experiences to our guests in the region,” says COO Silvio Liedtke.
