Industry reports reveal global home automation system market expected to grow from USD 40.8 billion in 2020 to USD 63.2 billion by 2025

Increased evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and widespread adoption of 5G connectivity, and environmental consciousness are main factors impacting UAE customers’ decision to modernise and automate their homes, according to UAE-based technology retailer Sharaf DG.

“At Sharaf DG, we see a natural evolution in customer behaviour, where they are looking to modernise and automate their daily lives, not to mention the importance of being environmentally friendly and carbon neutral. Factors such as affordability, increased computing power and 5G have a real effect on how one views content and convenience in their homes. It’s all about high-speed connectivity, on-demand content and entertainment, and eco-friendliness all rolled into one lifestyle,” commented AS Pillai, Senior General Manager, Sharaf DG Business.

Home systematisation continues to grow across the UAE, especially villa owners increasingly opting for automated homes, with a combination of home entertainment, including turnkey in-home cinema experience, smart home solutions including automation, IoT, while powering their houses by infinite electricity from Solar Energy.

Even as the global market from home automation continues to grow 9% annually, here in the UAE, Sharaf DG has witnessed a high volume of inquiries for these solutions, with around 80% of customers adopting for in-home entertainment and automation through IoT and connected devices. Industry reports mention global home automation system market is expected to grow from USD 40.8 billion in 2020 to USD 63.2 billion by 2025. Sharaf DG has also solarised more than 550 villas, installing over 7,000 PV solar panels along the way, helping customers to reduce energy bills and adopt an eco-friendlier sustainable lifestyle.

“In today’s digital world, consumers are becoming increasingly knowledgeable, and this is reflected in their lifestyle change. They want their homes to reflect their digital lives.
