UAE ranks in most expensive countries for beauty

Research from beauty comparison website, Cosmetify, has just revealed that the UAE is among the world’s most expensive countries to buy beauty products.

The UAE ranks fourth after China (¥2,758 / £316.34), Thailand(฿12,096 / £300.68), and Taiwan($10,906 / £290.26).

The most affordable countries to buy these products were the Canada($337 / £197.74), USA ($265 / £201.67), Turkey(₺2,282 / £214.43), Mexico ($5,400 / £216.90), and Malaysia (RM1,175 / £217.24).

The study was done by compiling a list of some of the most iconic products – Chanel No. 5 Eau De Parfum, MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Lipstick, Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF10, Anastasia Beverley Hills DIPBROW Pomade and NARS Sheer Glow Foundation – that are available to buy internationally.
