Saudi Arabia-based, Abdullah Al-Othaim Leisure & Tourism Company launched its first Snow City concept in Cairo, Egypt. This is the company’s fifth leisure project in Egypt.
The Snow City opening took place in the presence of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador Sir Osama Noqaly; Abdullah Saleh Al-Othaim, chairman; Fahad Abdullah Al-Othaim, vice chairman & CEO; and the members of Al-Othaim Company.
With an investment of EGP500 million, Snow City is spread across 60,000 sqft and its freezing temperatures reach -5 degree Celsius. Snow City is covered with 750 pounds of snow manufactured using pure water. It also uses the latest international specifications and French technology and commits to safety and security criteria to provide real snow environment. It lets visitors live in a snow environment all-year long. Snow City is also considered as one of the environment friendly projects.
Fahad Abdullah Al-Othaim expressed his happiness for the opening of the company’s latest leisure projects in Egypt. This opening comes under the framework of the new expansion of the leisure projects outside of Saudi Arabia and increasing the investment in the leisure & tourism industry to include many countries of the Arabian Region and the Gulf.
Snow City has been conceptualised to complement the leisure offerings in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Jordan and Egypt.
