Abu Dhabi based community mall Deerfields Townsquare (DFTS), the flagship project of venture capital firm Mubarak Brothers Investments (MBI), will open its doors in May when the first phase of the project is expected to be completed. The mall management has announced that stores will continue to open throughout the summer, and a grand opening ceremony is scheduled for Q4 2013.
Deerfields Townsquare covers a gross leasable area of 860,000 sqft. The mall will feature 180 retail outlets over four floors with Carrefour, Centrepoint, Max and H&M as anchor brands, a multi-screen cinema complex, family entertainment park, outdoor street life featuring cafes and shops, wide selection of fine dining restaurants, food court and parking space for more than 3,000 vehicles.
DTFS is located in Al Bahia, in the entrance of Abu Dhabi, off of the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway. The mall will service the immediate catchment areas of Shahama, Bahia and Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi.
