The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Group recently opened a new service station at Barsha South in Dubai. The opening supports ENOC’s commitment to its expansion plans aimed at building 54 service stations by 2020.

The new 40,000 sqft station – located on Umm Suqeium Street after crossing over Al Khail Road, coming from Sheikh Zayed Road and heading towards Mohammed bin Zayed Road – offers ENOC’s customers several services, which will ease their refuelling experience. The entrance and exit to the station are designed based as per the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) guidelines for safe manoeuvring of vehicles and to reduce traffic congestion within the station.

offering ENOC’s customers a variety of conveniences, the growing Barsha South community will also benefit from retail facilities at the station including ZOOM convenience store, Pronto, Autopro, Paavo’s Pizza, a drive-thru McDonalds, Kashta Arabic restaurant, Aster Pharmacy and an ATM.

“The opening of the new service station falls within our long-term strategy towards the UAE to fulfil its energy needs. Our vision as a national oil company is aligned with the Dubai Plan 2021 to create a ‘Smart & Sustainable City’ for happy, creative and empowered people. With this opening, we hope to expand our retail network to cater to our customers’ needs,” says ENOC group CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi.

Customers will also benefit from a variety of payment methods such as ENOC’s cashless and credit card-less ViP system and BEAM.

In addition, the station is equipped with the Vapour Recovery Systems (VRS) to prevent and control emissions to the atmosphere, full LED lights installed at the site to reduce energy consumption by 50% and a VRF technology for the air conditioning (AC) system, which saves 35% compared to conventional package AC system.
