The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has approved a new e-commerce law with an aim to increase the online retail contribution to the national economy, which is in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The Electronic Commerce Law was approved by the Council of Ministers, a report presented by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.

The law seeks to regulate the relationship between consumers and e-commerce entities that do not have a commercial registration.
