Al Ain’s Wahat Hili Mall has opened its doors to customers with a tenant occupancy rate of 65% of the 320,000 sqft gross leasable area (GLA). The mall houses 160 retailers including hypermarket chain and anchor store Géant, health and fitness club Fitness First, family entertainment centre My Play Zone, coffee shop Jamaica Blue and electronics store Emax.
Food and beverage outlets, which constitute 22% of the mall’s GLA, include 14 casual dining and 13 food court outlets, namely, Baskin Robbins, Burger Hood, China Wall, Fresco, Jamaica Blue, La Brioche, Le Bistro, McDonald’s, Papa John’s Pizza, Pizzaro, Salamlek, Solidair Restaurant and Subway.
The three-storey mall is part of a mixed-used project that includes a 250-room hotel Hili Rayhaan by Rotana. Located in the Hili district in northern Al Ain, Wahat Hili has been developed to boost tourism in Al Ain, along with servicing the Hili residential complex and nearby districts including the neighbouring town of Buraimi in Oman.
